Gymnastics in the Classroom?!?

Gymnastics in the classroom?!?  Well, not quite.  My fellow teachers and I were given the task to watch a short video made by Katie Gimbar.  In this video she explained how and why she "Flipped" her classroom.

Well duh!  I feel exactly like she did...all I do is lecture and then I have to spend extra days making sure the students understand what was taught, sometimes even re-lecturing, and feeling like I am just hitting those middle kids.  It just makes sense to have the students watch the video lecture and then be able to come into class ready to apply what they have learned.

So, I have watched all of Katie's YouTube videos (as well as many others), done some research, I borrowed the Flip Cam from my school, and this is my attempt to "Flip" my classroom.
